What's the best time to aerate a Colorado lawn?
For our cool-season grasses like Kentucky bluegrass, fall is the best window, roughly late August through mid-October. That lets the grass recover and fill in before winter. Spring aeration helps too, but fall gets the best results on the Front Range.
